The first ever issue of Cult of Create. Reflections on my three weeks in the cave: what I’ve been working on, what's inspired me, and how I ended up here. Plus the return of The Prompt Pot.
This is lovely. Again, I am not an artist yet I create my own worlds. I initiated a food pantry that is open 24/7 and look for beauty and artistry in people, in building community and in nature. Reading your Cult of Create is joyful. I love the last page, a visual collection, especially. Fun! Thank you❤️
Loving Issue 1 of Cult of Create Tabby, it is visually wonderful—so inspiring and intentional. It feels like the start of something special. I’m really looking forward to creating something for the first pot prompt and following the journey through future issues. 🥰
Hellooo! Thank you so much for this insightful post! It's so intriguing to read about artists lives and how you balance/juggle everything. If you don't mind me asking, what brushes do you use on procreate? Would love to know 🙌🏻
Welcome to Substack! There are so many inspirational things in your post. Just this week I started Deliberately Not For Sale - a project for myself - without commercial consideration. I’ve felt so distant from my true artistic expression and have been trying to find a way back to it…here’s to doing it for yourself!
Love Gorilla and Baby, if I can carve out some time I’ll see what appears.
Thank you so much Katerina!! 🖤 I would love to see your Prompt Pot response if you have time. Deliberately Not For Sale is such a good name/ concept 👌 X
This was really inspiring, I love the idea of being in a cave for three weeks. I shall enjoy pondering the prompt pot and hopefully creating something for it. Thank you ☺️
I am in awe of the work you put in. I love seeing the design process of the logo. I think that was the most meaningful to see, the work that goes unseen. Ditto on all the positive comments.
I really loved this first issue, it was so inspiring.
I wasn’t sure what you meant by “the cave”; is it your studio?
I also wanted to share a small observation. I’m Italian, and while I can read English, sometimes I don’t understand a word or a sentence and need to look it up. I usually do this using Google Translate by selecting the text, but in this case the text is inside images, so I can’t select it.
I imagine this might not be just my issue, so maybe a more text-based, foreign-reader-friendly version could be helpful 🙂
Hi Margherita! Yes sorry that really should have been clearer 😂🙈 going into the cave for me was spending time away from emails and Instagram - just to focus on coming back to myself and my creativity x
Aw Tabby, I saved this read until I had a little time to thoroughly enjoy it - and enjoy I did! The crown, the dentist's sign, the lot! Simply magical my dear x
I don’t know what I was expecting, but this was delightfully inspiring. Just the color palette alone was enough to get me dreaming!
Thank you so much! I’m really glad you enjoyed it 🤗

Thanks Elena! I actually mostly use brushes from True Grit Texture Supply, but I’m partial to a bit of Pandani on Procreate!xx
